John Hearn

President

John has served in operations, estimating, and data analytics at Phillips for over 13 years. Son of Shealia Hearn, John has been around the printing industry his whole life. He received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Vanderbilt University. Thereafter, John worked in the construction industry in Chicago, IL, as a project manager constructing commercial buildings. At Phillips, John adds a tremendous amount of mechanical expertise and vision for the company that allows us to grow through continuously improving processes, equipment, and capabilities. He also received a rare certification as a G7 Master to oversee color management at Phillips. When he isn’t busy fine-tuning our operations, John enjoys raising his two kids, biking, fishing, and kayaking on Old Hickory Lake.
